By chance does anyone here who attended CybCon know the gent who was selling the red Autobot and Decepticon stickers? I find myself in need of a couple very suddenly and I'd rather give my money to someone local-ish as opposed to a random sticker person on Amazon.

I just returned from Portland, Oregon and lucked out and got my Soundwave at the Tigard TRU. They received 10 units and limited it to one piece per person. If this is the future of shipments in Canada, then there may be hope. However I still had to line up before the store opened and was given a ticket to secure my purchase. As it turned out there were only five of us at opening waiting for Soundwave. They even had Acidstorm, but I passed on it as I am not really looking at collecting the seekers. The only way I was able to get this was that the staff at the TRUs in Portland that I visited gave me the truth about the # of units coming and when they were expected in store. If the staff at our local stores acted this way instead of shoveling the bull$#it that they do, it would make it a far more pleasant experience and less frustrating for collectors. Last year I missed out on Thundercracker because of all the misinformation I got from TRU staff. It is like no one knows what the hell is going on. I went to Surrey TRU last week and asked about Soundwave and was told the end of the month and low and behold I find out from these very forums, that they had some and sold them the next morning at opening. I am not mad about the quantity of units they are getting so much as the lousy information and contradiction I get from the staff. Anyways, enough of my ranting, I have him now and I only hope that everyone in our local group can get one too and is treated as well as I was in Portland this past weekend.

Portland is like some sort of Mecca...no sales tax, awesome food and beer, now informative TRU staff and sufficient stock...What's next, world peace?

I wish I knew too, I totally should have bought a couple when I had the chance :P

Yeah, well, I didn't NEED them on Saturday. As it turns out I bought a shiny, new red car on Monday and they'd look awesome in the back windows.

I was contemplating on getting those stickers as well. I bought some from the past so didn't feel I needed more. If I come across any, I will let you know. Maybe Agesthreeandup has some?

Portlandia F*ckin' rocks! They also have movie theatres/pubs...had them for years actually. I watched "Undercover Brother" at one of those theatres, drunk on the two pitchers of beer, eating stone ground, brick oven roasted pizza with my Yankee Kuzzin.

When I re-watched the same movie years later I couldn't belive how much it sucked...in Portland I was sure it was the year's best comedy!

For vinyl window decals, Toy traders has them in Langley, and on the Island try Cherry Bomb in Victoria
