Re: Fansproject Glacialbots
I appreciate your updates too, but how hard is it to post something on the FPC's blog? Even for someone who does it part time?
Of course I think the X_Transbots web site still has a note that their for people to come see their products at TFCon 2012, so FPC isn't as bad as them on web site updates.

Re: Fansproject Glacialbots
Taking into account that FPC is an official page AND the Glacialbots have not officially been released. What would FPC update with? "We are still waiting for something to happen?"
I do agree more updates are required on FPC but to get more the page will have to go in the direction that the originally intended. Currently with so much time between releases from FPC they really have nothing to update with so they do not update.
Personally, I can not wait until FPC goes full throttle. I need to start my HERR TRANSBOT: LEADER OF THE CRYSTALLON HORDES campaign. Transbot needs to be immortalized as a FP figure. (yes I smoke very good crack )

The last news update (July 18th) they posted said:

For all you fans that will be attending TFCON 2013, stop by our booth to say hi and to checkout some of the goodies we will have with us.

TFcon is long over. Even if you have nothing to say, say something new. Thank the people for being at TFcon.
Even X-Transbots just posted an update on their site after being silent for 13 months.

Re: Fansproject Glacialbots
They look VERY cool indeed, but not something I would feel the need to own.

Well, if xtransbot makes you happy with a post after 13 months then give FPC 13 months to update.
My point is, why update when there is nothing to say?
A wise man speaks because he has something to say. A fool speaks because he has to say something.
All that said, it would be nice to get these figures up for sale and in hand ASAP.
I can not get over how much fun and how many play options Fangor has. I need em all NAO!!!!

Re: Fansproject Glacialbots
A sales man speaks to keep customers from thinking they went out of business.
If there were nothing worth reporting, why are you reporting here? Obviously people want an update, even if the update is that the toy are delayed, please be patient. Customers need to know if they should pay the outrageous ebay prices for the Glacialbots, or wait for them to make it to the FPC web site. This update should be on the FPC front page for everyone, not on some obscure thread of a message board.
X-Transbots posted the update partially because I talked to the guy who runs it, who is a friend of mine, who I told it looks horribly unprofessional to leave a site silent for that long.
