I noticed this when I first got him, I don't even use the clip on weapons though, they looks silly IMO.

Having recently purchased Darkmount and while going through this section I noticed this post and was curious... Why on Earth would you attach the weapons to those pieces anyway? They are the two grey pieces that are covering his knee joints in robot mode right?

Unless Hasbro's instructions told you to do this, to which again I must ask, why? They don't even look remotely like the hard points for the clips covering the rest of his body.
