I see it differently.
I like the idea of as many fans getting their hands on a Swerve, rather than many of this limited toy being in 1 person's possession.

Profit or not, selling on eBay helps accomplishes the distribution.
And chances are better for Swerve if he's bought for $100, rather than a free-er handing it to his 3-year old nephew who breaks it, proving the idiocy of his uncle.

I don't care what the figure is worth or how rare it is or if it gets broken, a transformer being given to a child who plays with it and enjoys it is a good thing. That's who they're designed for, 9 times out of 10, and that enjoyment is the reason almost all of us are here posting now, however many years later.

eBay helps accomplish distribution only to the fans with the most money. Now, I think the free market system is all well and good, and obviously, there's nothing I can do to someone who wants to sell / buy one, but its a slap in the face of the whole marketing staff (such as GMguy) who worked their butts off and gave these figures away for free.

So I think they, as well as the fine members of the fandom who helped others get these for nothing or next to it, deserve a huge thank you.
