My "appreciation" for 3P has dwindled. They are often pricey, and balancing that over quality and complexity, I find them less and less appealing as more and more come out. I don't have many. And I'm on the proverbial fence about the "Jazz" offering... I like the character so much though.

For Devastator, I'd be content with the UW/CW offering. Looks great, and is official. I like that it doesn't look so bulky above the shoulders.

Is this the one dubbed "Gravity Builder" or a different one? I keep losing track at all the companies making the same characters but their versions.

No. Gravity Builder is a completely different version.

I think this is how mostly I feel about things. As 3rd parties get larger and more numerous, IMHO the same issues/nigglings we have with Has/Tak and their decisions tend to pop up in 3rd party offerings, repaints, quality, QC issues, pricing, aesthetics, etc.,

And, now the irony of things is, China is starting to knock-off 3rd party stuff. I got a KO Hercules, Uranos, and a weird Menasor-Defensor mix, each for less than a single 3rd party figure. And for what they are, they're not too shabby.

So for some of the 3rd party stuff, I just wait for the eventual KO.

These days, I only buy if I really like both character and toy. Used to try to complete lines, but there are so many less than satisfying offerings across all of the lines, why not direct funds to the cream of the crop?

Re: Toyworld Devy Thoughts

Does anybody know why these aren't available with Canadian retailer, ie ages3andup, and I can't find them on Chimungmung even. Those sites do carry the Generation Toys version but not the Toyworld one. Seems to be available only on the American sites and I rather not pay the customs fees to bring them in.

I bought 2 figures the other night via Robot Kingdom. First time buying from them, hoping it turns out ok. Watched the reviews on YouTube for the figures...couldn't resist.
