I didn't got a chance to buy this yet, but just based on pictures, looks to me weapon with chrome looks better.

lol seems like a lot of trouble just to save a few bucks. if you don't like the chrome just go takara...they give you extra paint apps

I would go with Pascal's recommendation. The green stuff is less toxic than the purple engine degreaser stuff.

has anyone tried a Kitbash with jetfire?

How is the Head attached to the body? I want to take the Body of a VF-1S and affix the Jetfire head and possibly bosters. I want to make something that can stand among the masterpieces.

and so far the 3rd party aint doing it for me they look too big and stiff.

I've seen people use household bleach to remove chrome from model cars before, should work here as well.
