I wanted to Grab a VF-25S or VF-0S to use as Jetfire. I saw the D.D. Ivanov SV [or whatever] but that thing is too weird lookin, another guy had a clear plastic VF-25F but that's 1/72 which is waaaay too small. This was the first year no good Macross were in house

I celebrated my work promotion in style this year:

Classics Prime/Ultramagnus 2 pack -split with Reprolabels dude - I kept the magnus and box he kept prime ....All I paid was 25 bucks - thanks man!

Finally back into collecting after several years away. Mainly focused on TFA, Henkei/classics and MP/binaltech/alternators/alternity right now.

Of course I got the Powered Commander - love Fansproject - it was great to be able to tell them in person how much I loved their work and to keep it up. Can't wait for Defender.

Within first 30 mins I bought:
TFA Prowl (couldn't find him anywhere, so very happy)
TFA Skywarp (same as above)
Classics Dragstrip
Henkei Megatron
Henkei Ironhide

On the above I spent $120 (all from Silversnail - terrific prices and I didn't even know about them).

I then wandered around the dealer room, looking for a red Alternity Convoy but couldn't find one for sale. Thought about getting an MP Megatron but ultimately decided to wait and see if something else caught my fancy.

Then I spotted it - my holy grail for the last little while - A botcon 2007 Games of Deception set with proper L+R launchers!!!!!!! Got it for $660 CDN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was my birthday on Saturday, so I didn't even think twice about getting it Best birthday present I ever gave myself (I got a new set of golf clubs later that night, so good b-day all around). Every figure was in pristine condition, even the box didn't have a flaw on it. I've been looking for a year for this set, and was really discouraged to see that it would probably run me about $800 USD to get it. So I'm really happy with the price I purchased it for.

Now to find that red Alternity Convoy!

All in all a pretty good show. I'll post my thoughts in the other section. I came in under budget too at $171. I managed to score some great deals, and picked up a bunch of stuff I wasn't expecting to either. I was a little bummed that I couldn't track down a RID Megatron or a Loose Quickstrike, but say la vie.

There was actually several, but I missed them all initially because the box is so small and different the the alternator/binaltech line boxes. I flat out didn't realize what it was.
