Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2012 edition

TF United Soundwave (One from WFC) metalic colour. Was the Japan import one.

Currently looking for MP Grimlock and Optimus right now.

Question: Why is the MP Thundercracker popular? I'm seeing its name pop up everywhere on TF related sites.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2012 edition

Got the Kreo singles minus Scorpy(got an extra Waspinator by accident :P).

As well I made the treck down to the Comic Factory and finally picked up the last nine Transformers comics that came out.

Re: Post your Transformers hauls - 2012 edition

FOC Shockwave.

My first TF purchase in months, and damn this thing is impressive. Granted, he's a bit small for a deluxe class (as are all the FOC toys it seems. I'm looking at you Optimus), and the alt mode is a bit too abstract for my tastes (though perhaps better than a giant laser gun), but everything else about this figure is perfect to me. The design really captures the essence of G1 Shockwave and adds to it to make him even better. The articulation and balance of the figure itself is also quite impressive. As far as transformations go, he's also complex enough to be fun, yet not needlessly complex in any way. Plus, everything actually seems to fit together properly without it looking like an exploded mess.

Overall I would call this figure my favourite Shockwave by far (excluding perhaps alt/BT Laserwave, which I'm still looking for)

Picked up Bot Shots 3 packs Jetfire/Powerglide/Skyquake and Ironhide/Shocky/Brawl. Swear to god everytime I see a Bot Shots wave I say I'll buy'em one at a time and end up going home with them all at once.
