Re: Crossfire XF-02A and B

CROSSFIYAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways I think the figures will fit alright with Bruticus as is, whether combined or separate.

The PCC line may be a dream come true for me. They have mini-con like figures. And I've always wanted a line where every scout was engineered to be a limb, and every deluxe to be engineered a torso.

Now all we need are the voyager class figures to become interchangeable armour for leader class figures and have the ultra class figures combine to become a giant base playset.

Then my head will explode.

Why they are doing it this way probably has a lot to do with sales and marketing obviously but I don't like it. No sirreeee

I'm going to have to think up a project for the arm and leg I'll be replacing.

Sweet.I just have to save my allowance for ten weeks. A few more, due to Shipping, etc. And then there's March, to renew my TFCC membership, so I have to skip that Month's allowance... *sigh*

Atleast it won't be like $170, like my shadow commander+Nemesis...

EDIT: I hope they're painted.

It wouldn't be any cheaper if they came together. Its actually a really good marketing decision, I think, as I've seen a bunch of fans who just wanted Swindle on his own. So if this was a pack with both figures, those people would pass on Swindle. Plus, it makes it easier for others to buy them, instead of shelling out $100 at once. They can buy one part at a time, and still have something to enjoy, while they wait for the second part.

I agree. In another thread, many were guessing at a $100 price tag for everything. So, there really isn't a difference except now, as quoted above, there are more options for the consumer if they only want the figure. If you think about it, the superion appendage kit cost around $50. That's only for the appendages. So using that same priceing for Bruticus, you're paying $25 each for the new figures. Which isn't too too bad.

I dunno what it is, but 2 $48.99 kits just seems like more than 1 $99.99 kit

Well you do have the option of buying both kits for $90.00.

Re: Crossfire XF-02A and B

It is around the price I expected so no big deal. Already got a Bruticus Maximus waiting

(pls don't compare the prices of a Hasbro/Takara mass-produced kit with a relatively low quantities custom made kit. Doesn't work that way )
