Agesthreeandup refund? Anyone else in this boat?

Anyone still owed money from Spencer and A3U? I've talked to Spencer before his store was closed and he said that I could go into his store to get my money back or he can paypal it to me. I went into his store a few days after boxing day but was told by the girl working there who called Spencer when I was there and he said that he was going to refund the money through paypal still. I have waited for about 2 weeks and have sent him a few emails asking him when my refund is coming ( Full refund I'm expecting). I have yet to receive a response. I don't think I am being unreasonable in wanting my money since it has been several months since I preordered my items. Some of it came in but he was not able to bring in the rest.

I heard that Spencer checks this board from time to time so hopefully he can shed some light on this situation.

Thanks.

I got my refund on the 6th of January. And the A3U site stated that refunds weren't going to start until after new years.

I am awaiting a refund from Spencer too. He did respond my email on the 25th saying he would get refunds out as soon as possible after the holidays. Perhaps I will try PMing him again.

I was expecting a refund of over 130$ but only got a 8.61$ payment through Paypal from him last week with no explanation as to what it was for.

Several emails later & he still hasn't gotten back to me.

Re: Agesthreeandup refund? Anyone else in this boat?

I've been waiting on a refund for the past 10 days (on a figure I ordered 9 months ago). Spencer first claimed there was a problem sending me money through PayPal (I've been selling on eBay for 8 years, he's the first to encounter such a problem), so I assume he's using the wrong address and respond. Nothing. I send another copy of the e-mail, nothing. Then a few more copies and 9 days later he responds with the same error. So I suggest sending him an invoice through PayPal myself and he says okay. It's the next day and I still have no refund.

I also mentioned how it took 9 days for him to respond to a simple e-mail. His response was that he "has an actual job now" and is really busy selling the rest of his stock on eBay. I just want a simple refund after *9 months* of waiting on a figure. I didn't even mention the other figures I'm waiting to have shipped.

Whatever, this isn't new. I've had e-mails to him go unanswered in the past. So have many others. I've kept a keen eye on other people's issues with him over the years. IMO, There's a reason he went out of business, and it has little to do with the state of the economy.

Spender got back to me today and asked for my PayPal information...

Spencer, if you read this forum, I'm really hoping for the best outcome.

Re: Agesthreeandup refund? Anyone else in this boat?

I received my refund tonight, but not without being called "self righteous" for wanting a basic level of communication (not to mention my money and figs). Who knew a simple "9 days for a response?" comment could set him off.

I used to really enjoy that store, but thank God it's dead. Sorry, but what a jerk.

edit: damn customers, wanting money back when they don't get their shit!

edit: I do wish him well, however. He did sell some fine toys.

edit: I just received the most insane e-mail from Spencer, attacking me left and right. Spence, you need help buddy, badly.
