Yeah, I wanted to but lack of CC really hinders things.

Certain companies do this, but I don't think Hasbro is thinking along these lines. All the MP molds with the exception of Megatron have been re-released multiple times, and I doubt this won't be the case with MP-10 and with Soundwave. Just look at how many times MP-01 was released.

Besides the scarcity in Canada is not Hasbro's fault. It's the fault of the distributor TRU. They decide how much they order in. There were pictures of stacks MP-10 in asia that were shoulder high. So I don't think the supply of MP10 world wide is as scarce as it appears here in Canada.

Re: Does Masterpiece supply meet demand?

Hasbro has no idea what is "collectible". Look at all the nice shiny boxes on all that "Year-Of" crap. Why they waste inventory on those things is beyond me.

Other that G1 and Rares, MP is the only line that goes up in value after the initial release and I for one like that if hasbro makes to many and these things showed up at say Real Canadian Superstore or Winners or GT then in all honesty they would hold no aftermarket value

Remember Unicron? Loads of him sat on the shelves clearance priced to like $48. One day they disappeared he never showed up at discount stores. They were either sent back or destroyed.
