Can you tell me what the manufac stamp on each of them says? trying to ID the one i just picked up.

Smooth, one-piece back.

hrm. it matches neither of those.

Must be a Takara reissue then from the early 00s?

It has this on it:

the new reissue also has a noticably brown tint to his silver areas,specifically the legs,whereas the original g1's both versions were metallic silver with no brown tint,unless it's sun damaged.

then it's definitely a takara reissue. The legs do appear a bit brown.

Does it hold one or two tapes? It could be twin cast.

Except Twincast is a completely different colour scheme. Pretty sure he'd notice :P

First off, which back does he have, the solid one or the "battery pack removable one",
