Looks like the Wave 2 deluxes are really delayed. I have a set on order from A3U that was supposed to ship in June(?). Nothing yet, and no updated information. Some sites are saying October, so that is probably when Allicon gets to retailers.
I wish retailers other than Amazon would be better at informing us of lengthy delays with our orders. (I got such a notice for the Prowl/ Ironhide two-pack). However, Walmart Canada recently announced that they will be pumping millions of dollars into upgrading their web presence, obviously to compete with Amazon. Hopefully this will lead to some more customer-friendly features.

Re: Walmart.ca Transformers Sightings
I don't think A3U has even received their quints yet. I have a small order waiting for those and Runamuck.

So this pretty much guarantees what we suspected: those Quints that showed up online yesterday were phantom stock triggered by the fulfillment of pre-orders (like the Snapdragon situation a few weeks ago), and yesterday’s orders are gonna get cancelled.
And unless they fix this issue, I expect this to be a regular occurrence in the future with Walmart.ca

Not necessarily.
They could have received their shipment, found they had leftover quantity after the pre-order count, and made the leftover quantity available online.

WTF? They never price match walmart.ca every time I tried? LOL
That said, I'm good that don't want to price match, cause I have no plans of supporting Walmart, I rather support Canadian run TRU.

You're better off supporting your business elsewhere, like TRU or EB Games.

If no one is using the program, then how is it causing delays at checkout?
Walmart sucks, but I guess that goes without saying.

Walmart’s got the ghost of Yogi Berra running things at corporate:
“No one goes there nowadays, it’s too crowded.”

Well, no one is successfully using the program, but the attempts are causing delays as store personnel have to think up more and more creative nonsense reasons to deny the match.
Edit/ I wrote this mostly joking but thinking about it there's a lot of truth to it. I'd read in the past that things like price matches are measured against the store manager and the store managers are better off with fewer marches being done.
Corporate, who made this decision, get metrics from the POS system about every price match made, but not for the ones attempted and denied. Nothing gets punched into the POS system to say "price match denied".
So corporate really do only see stats on successful matches. Nothing on total attempts. And I can believe successful matches are a small number, given the resistance we see from store personnel.
One thing I will acknowledge on their side is that price matching must be second only to returns in terms of scam attempts. For every one of us trying to legitimately match the price with TRU for a $9 savings, there's probably 2 attemtps to match faked ads, sites, etc by scuzzy people looking to get a TV pricematched at hundreds off. So I get why even sunny optimistic managers and staff can get pretty jaded after a while.
