SKHCP animated blades

this is for the "sick kids hospital charity project" started by fellow member "cliffjumper69".

still in the w.i.p. stages but almost ready to be shipped off to be "combined".i've already made a good spot to mount the struxx balljoint to.
after a few discussions with project leader cliffjumper69,we ultimately figured that animated voyager blackout(whenever he actually gets released)would be too big of a scale to use as "blades".
enter "tonka charlie chopper".
after butchering him along with a deluxe sized "roadbot hummer h2",this is the end result so far.

this is what charlie chopper's vehicle mode looked like before surgery.

original bot mode with animated deluxe prime for height comparison.his only articulation is in his head and arms.

after surgery with prime again.he only ended up gaining a slight bit of height.

the cool part is that i was able to retain and keep his electronics/voice box which says...
  • twistin' turbines, let's fly to the rescue
  • yahoo....let's go to chopper mode
  • jumpin' jet rockets, i think they need an airlift
  • twistin' turbines, you're a great wingman
  • leapin' lifters, let's fly to the rescue
next up is to figure out what to do about the head, then extend his helicopter blades and possibly have them detachable for melee weapons.i want to arm the crap out of him but at the same time,i'd like some input from you guys on how much before it's too much?

Re: SKHCP animated blades

LoL hard to say when it's too much considering Blades hardly had any weaponry....some would say giving him 2 guns already is too much :P

He's lookin pretty good though, I'd give him a different head sculpt though.

XD well I'll admit, the voice gimmick does strangely fit...it's like they made it for customizing into Blades XDD

I like it man ^^ We were all wondering what was planned for him XD

The head is still a go. As long as you can take off the original head, I can make the new one with a custom neck joint. Pm'd yeah for the details.

Well, I think the customs themselves will be auctioned off to a collector.

i honestly think this whole project in the end will ultimately go to a collector, hopefully at a decent price so we can all give that much more to the "SKH". if it takes a lotta bfg's to get that much more interest,i say by all means break out the armor and the big guns boys!!!!(just an opinon)
