TRU Reissue Ultra Magnus

Is anyone planning to get him? I know it was originally Walmart only, but other retailers are starting to get him too.

So far, the lowest price I was able to find was $58-60 USD on TF Source.

Has anyone else been able to find a better price or will any Canadian vendors be carrying them? Like Kooltoyz or AgesThreeAndUp? Sheraz and Spencer, hope you guys can give us a reply, heh.

Sorry, I am unsure of where Curt got these ones. We don't all have the same connectioins. Perhaps Sheraz can shed a little light.

Apparently Walmart, or one of their suppliers decided to hold off the product when it was sold a few years ago. Now they're selling it, or so I heard on the TFW2005 forums.

It's still cheaper than a Takara Reissue, although I'm still a bit lost on the differences.

The only two differences with it are that the stacks on the cab are short, like the 20th Prime and the missiles for the launchers that fit on the side of his shoulders are hella long. The missiles do look kind of stupid.

I read about this on tfw2005 when they first went up on Walmart.com a week or so ago. Wonder if we'll see them retail in canada.

Re: TRU Reissue Ultra Magnus

I did some digging around but could not find out if Hasbro did another run or if it was overstock from a supplier in Asia.

I can get them but refused because the price is too high. From my rough calculations the retail would work out to be $100 or more.
