Saw those at MetroCon the other night...piqued my interest since I know nothing about the Joe/TF Crossover other than Megs getting his G2 tank mode from it.

Definitely cool, especially if they're as big as the Mastermind Cyclops prototype that was only display.

Now, that was one helluva big HoS Shockwave!!!

I know it's been a while, but didn't Megatron just turn into his classic 80's Gun Form during that whole event? The rest of the Autobots and Decepticons got Cobra Vehicle Modes, but Megatron was strapped to CC's thigh as a pistol the entire time until Soundwave broke his transformation lock.

Spoke to the representative about this and was told that the figures are still in the R&D/prototyping phase. The size is currently undetermined, but he mentioned that they will most likely be either deluxe or voyager-ish (the latter being large enough to hold G.I.Joe figs). Serpent Leader is indeed OP.

I'd buy these things if they were voyagerish (around the same size as regular GI Joe Hiss Tanks).

I don't want huge massive figures.

@Scrapper6 - While in the most recent crossover I believe you are correct, I think the Megatron design might be inspired from one of the earlier crossover events. I personally would have liked to see it inspired by the G2 comics crossover, which is how megs got his green tank mode (Cobra built the body for him) but with the cannon on his arm it's fairly clearly not that version of Megs.

Still, interest is piqued...

Prime was a HISS Tank in the Devils Due TF/Joe crossover. Basically Cobra found the Ark with the bots and cons and reprogrammed them to work on their side as droids.

The Megatron design is new and is based on the Cobra C.A.T., the cobra version of the Joe Mobat.

Some more tidbits. Hisstank Prime will not be accuarate in robot mode to the comic design. The group told me the design from the comics doesn't work with out cheating and modifying the hisstank. So they are going to make the hisstank close as possible, and the bot mode will only be inspired, but mostly a new look.

They were also asking people if fans want the toys in scale to allow regular Joe figures to ride them, at a higher price point, or keep them smaller and to scale to mostly classics-verse figures.

Thats a tough call. I'd love to be able to fit Joes inside, but I'm not sure I could afford them.
