If you omit Primus and Unicron.

There are 3 that come to mind that. God Ginrai, Star Saber and Dai Atlus. All 3 at their peak (Fire Guts, Victory Saber and Zodiac Chargered) are all powerhouses that NO TRANSFORMER, can stop. I personally feel overall Star Saber is the strongest Transformer, even if the Robot Masters CG OVA balanced everyone and made Star Saber equal to Starscream (heck G1 Convoy equal to BW Megatron).

My money is on Star Saber, then Dia Atlus, then Ginrai.

I don't know, many of them are powerful. But I like Omega Prime, he rules. He is the strongest that I liked.

In the old marvel comics I remember Shockwave being quite the warrior. Someone else mentioned him beating all the Dinobots in IDW, I seem to remember that from the old comic series as well. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.......
Also I want to give the Dinobots an honorable mention from the 1986 movie. They took out not only Devestator but knocked a few holes in Unicron as well. Pound for pound I think the Dinobots are the most powerful.

Hell yeah. Those guys are awesome. Dai Atlus even sliced Predaking in half, exposing his organic brain! That's hardcore.

I guess, by the nature of the Transformers franchise, eventually at least one heroic character is going to use their "courage and hotblood" to overcome even the greatest of odds and pull out a victory for the good guys. It is unfortunate that fans of villains must resolve ourselves to this fact.

So how do guys like Optimus Prime or Megatron, the combiner robots, guardian robots, dinobots, etc. compare with each other? Mainly looking at G1 characters.
