Is Sony Canada releasing Beast Machines on DVD?

I was browsing through Amazon.ca and noticed that there is another listing for Beast Machines for a release date of November 20th, 2007.

Has anyone heard of a new release expected? If so, what's on this DVD?

I'm tempted to order it. It's just over 10$....

I think I saw that DVD at Zellers its just the pilot if its the same one.

In 2004, Fox Video released the first 5 episodes of BM on DVD. I think that's the one you saw at Zellers. It's usually listed between 10 to 15$.

In early 2006, Rhino Video released the complete series (Season 1&2 = 26 episodes). That one is a little harder to come by, and not available in Quebec stores.

This new one is from Sony is set to release next week. I agree that this is probably not the full season, but would they again release the pilot? And if Sony is starting to release Transformers, why start with Beast Machines?

I could not find the item on the US Amazon. Could this be a Canadian only release? Or a misprint?

The link shows it's from Sony Music. So I'm speculating it's the soundtrack...

I did a quick search on various DVD sites and found that Sony is releasing Beast Machines Season 2 on November 19th, but in th UK.

As mentioned by rid, this could be the cd as it is Sony Music, but it also says that it is a DVD in NTSC.... The plot thickens, or somebody's typo is maiking me play detective....

The price listed is 7.49 in Pounds. Thats just under 15$ Canadian, which is the regular Candian price on the listing.

Maybe the Amazon's databases got crossed and now we are seeing a UK release listed?

YES! I picked it up at Walmart today. Its a reissue dvd of the first five episodes. $12..99 or so on the price. Hopefully they put out the next five episodes sometime soon.............
