Re: Walmart.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion
Yesterday, I finally managed to get a second BB in store as a spare as while it's a great figure, the roof and how it closes in car mode is scary as hell that something will break at some point.
It was the only one but there was 2 of the other deluxes, including a Soundwave.
For my first one, (before Christmas) someone had stated seeing some at a store late in the day (right before closing), so I went at the opening to get it. I didn't expect to ever see it and figured that it might be the only one time I'd ever have a chance to get. I told myself that if I ever could get a second one as a spare, I'd jump at the chance (which I now have managed to do).
Online, all I've seen has been overpriced.

Is there something different about it compared to Cliffjumper Bug Bite et al? Never had any concerns or problems with that mold. It's a delight.

The shell has a bit of a clearance issue when you clip in the roof/windshield. Seems to be due to the slightly different shape around that section. Base robot is the same though so its only a shell difference.

The core is the same, but the "feet" and hood parts are shaped very differently (giving it the much rounder beetle shape). The hood, as you clip it, has two little tabs that need to be pushed fairly hard to get them and the hood aligned for it to be snapped in place.
No issues with Cliffjumper, as those parts are different enough (squarish) to line up easily.
I've seen someone even cut parts of the feet to give more clearance to those tabs to try and prevent breakage. Many have reported the same fear about it, so it's not a one shot deal, it's the mold itself for all copies.

Found mine early one morning before work, stopped in at the local WM at like 7:00 in the morning
It was back in December, a whole case of Netflix wave 2 deluxe
I couldn't believe it, I was able to compare two Bees for QA and evrything
There's a number of figs I might hesitate on, but I got ER Cliffjumper before, knew it would be good, and pounced right away
Only instance of NF BB I ever seen in the wild, though of course pandemic got me going to (further out) stores less than prev years

Saw your post, hit the app, added to cart. All in less than 1 minute. Couldn't even checkout, because it was already sold out again.

As I. I had it in the cart as well, had to re-login and by that time, he was gone...
