I skipped Armada entirely, never watched the show though I was familiar with it. The original toys/animation had some cool ideas and designs but the execution of the toys was just so clunky and pretty bad. I have hesitated to buy the original figure so many times now, I'm glad they're finally releasing a version of this design with modern engineering. As a collector of various Optimus Primes, I'm happy to add more if they have interesting designs, and this one checks all the boxes. I think he's awesome!

Nope. I skipped from G1 in the 80s to the regrettable Michael Bay movies, with a brief bit of Beast Wars in the 90s, but I never really liked that show, either.

Usually in-store systems can accept orders the day following the online store. Just try again tomorrow morning and it should be fine.

And it WAS fine! Just had to visit the store in-person (calling them was a nightmare, on hold to never come back, etc), but just got Evo commander class Armada Prime preordered, nice
