Transformers Prices

I haven't bought retail Transformers for a while and was going to buy Kingdom Deluxe Slammer. When did Deluxes cost $33? That is way more than Power of the Primes Deluxes that were $20!

Prices high, inventory low, you're lucky to find a figure you're looking for, ha ha

Re: Transformers Prices

Yeah, they’re getting up there. I did a double take when I realized that the new Core Class Hot Rod cost me nearly as much as FOC Optimus did 10 years ago. Luckily I’m getting out of Mainline collecting after Legacy G2 Optimus and going back to Masterpiece and Vintage.

Re: Transformers Prices

Our prices will remain at the $35 price point until the increase effects our ordering price. We won't raise our prices just because we can. We paid a certain price for figure and we are not going to gouge people for that extra amount.

PS we also have Slammer in stock

Hey there!

I guess you've been out of the loop for a bit.. yup, it's like the old west now.... price are going absolutely crazy, stock are low, so many exclusives that it's like a showdown at the ol'Coral for everyone to hit that pre-order button otherwise they are G-O-N-E!!!

Then it's all about "will it be cancelled?".

And on top of that, almost everything that is getting resold is pretty nuts with the "late tax" prices being more than anything seen before.

Unless it was a shelfwarmer, odds are that it's probably doubled in price, and anything exclusive or simply rare (some were unicorns) you're looking at 3,4,5 times the original price.

And Toys R Us has gone loco, with increasing their prices even more than anyone else (by a LOT).

The cost of things goes up, it's a fact of life. However charging the higher price on stuff you already purchased at the lower price is the unethical part.
