If you're getting a new one anyway, there's no harm in asking BBTS for a replacement part. Won't fix the frustration from the initial shock at discovery of the flaw, but might get you a replacement.

Also, with a lot of the newer N.A. release TFs, the QC has slipped it seems from days of yore. I bought a Hasbro Soundwave, just for the yellow visor and guess where the unpleasant surprise was? Yes, it was the visor. I guess this is a long way to say it sometimes doesn't hurt to have a spare.

I had ordered the GT-R Megatron and the female model it came with had a broken arm.

What sucked most was I got hit with customs charges on the order.

Well it's either return the figure or get a 15$ credit at BBTS... I'll see if I can fnd Sandstorm at TRU later tonight, if I can I'll just grab the credit.

EDIT: Now they're offering me a replacement since returning from Canada would be too complex.

OH FOR PETE SAKE! I finally find a Ripclaw after waiting for monthes... and she has the red piece that forms one of her elbow assembled facing backward!

it doesn't affect poseability except that she cant close her elbow as much one arm by like... a few milimeters but it's just so annoying to be hit by the same problem AGAIN!!

Not enough to get a new one though.

In end I grabbed Sandstorm at TRU and got 15$ of credit at BBTS. Now I'm still not sure what to do with the other Sandstorm hmm...
