Re: Transformers Animated Listed in Toys R Us Canada Computers

If TRU doesn't jump on the price adjustment on the deluxes a cross border trip will be in order. That is if I decide to get a bunch of these. I don't even care if TRU matches the USA price but lets atleast go $12.99 for a deluxe.

For me the $30 bucks I'll spend for gas will be saved pretty quick, it always is. And hey, no passport needed by ground now till 2009.

Anyone have any idea which Target exclusives we'll be getting screwed by yet?

Hey, if it's anything like the movie, they'll put something on sale every other week for the first couple months. They really should do a drop on the regular price tho.

Cool...but what the heck is on that DVD that comes with Earth Mode Prime and Cybertronian cockroach, er, I mean "jet fighter" Megatron???

Anyone know? Is it just a bunch of stills like the DVD I got with RM-10 Convoy...hopefully not in Japanese!

What was on the DVD in this two-pack ?

Was it worth buying...crappy toys aside?

Probably a random episode, maybe the first 3 if we're lucky.

This DVD contained a description of the basic elements of Transformers, such as who are the Decepticons and Autobots, Megatron and Prime, Cybertron etc. I only bought it because it was part of the classics line, so if you're not into "full" collections, you are not missing anything.

Yeah...I was thinking "Animated" Episodes or 1 episode actually. I missed the "Transform And Roll Out" series premiere on YTV so it'd be cool if it's just that one.

But knowing Hasbro it'll probably be another re-hash of clips and a 15 minute toy commercial.

I wonder if tru.ca will sell these on-line in advance...

Can't wait to see these in stores. I do hope there is an adjustment of the price by one of the retailers. And here's hoping Zellers doesn't understand what a street date is again!

In case anyone's interested, there's a picture of the Animated Earth Mode Megatron in the upcoming issue of Toyfare.

Here's a link to the pic

G1-inspired head and fusion cannon + swords + attack helicopter mode = One Mean Megs!!!

Wish they were offering this version in the "Battle Begins" two-pack instead of Flying Cockroach-mode Megatron.
