Dealling with People on Kijiji.... My head Explodes

I've had a few that had said they wanted everything in the past to no avail. It happens, but I feel for you as I have never seen anyone do it over a 2-3 month period, that's just nuts!

Can anyone explain to me the reason a seller would not accept paypal as payment ? I just can't see why they wouldn't. As long as they have an email they can receive payment right ?

maybe they like cash in hand? if you are talking about direct payment through email maybe the owe the bank some fees? could be many things.

Ya I guess .... it's just frustrating to find something at a decent price online then you're told you can't purchase it unless you meet up in their city. Oh well .... their loss really.

^^ I would imagine most people don't want to bother with the shipping would be my guess. Too much hassle for them to pack it up and go to the post office maybe?

yep 100%. plus i believe kijiji's main thing is for people to deal locally and with cash.

I have had an add up for some paintball gear and I have had people ask me to drive as far a Montreal to deliver. On the same note I have a hopper for sale and the same guy has messaged me 20 time asking if it is available and if I would take various thing from games to sunglasses for trade and I have said that I will only take cash so I blocked him.

My thoughts on this...
Because EMT is easier.
Because I hate asking for people to send money as a gift. As some complain why would I send as a gift. No one on here though I want to make that clear.
EMT flat rate of $1.50, monies straight to my bank account.

In my eyes it makes perfect sense.

Please advise how to do this? I have this scammer in Cape Breton who keeps wasting my time. I would love to block him and be done with his COD/Cheque/Ship to me/Paypal (that will be reversed from posts) and text me only if your a gullible putz, email is fake (how he got that on kijiji in the first place.)
