btw transformers cartoons sucks major ass. i haven't found any that interests me so far. its not even comparable to gargoyles. anyway, computron was made by a genius grimlock?! damn, even with that that episode was lame. damn. 4th season is cool but it stops at 4 episodes?! the jap ones suck. hetto off.

Admitialy the Transformers Cartoons in ther various incarnations have been hit and miss.

My ranking in order:

1. RID- Fun show, with great animation and a decent story arc. Sure some stuff was weird, but it solidified me into being the collector I am today.
2. Beast Wars / Beast machines- I put these in the same catagory casue I started watching both at the same time. Amazing stories, decent animation...great re-start into transformers after a long hiatus...
3. Gen 1- as I remember it was a great show, turns out my memorry is not what it use to be. Sure there were some great parts, but there was a lot of crazy shit that went on.
4. Cybertron- Good animation, decent story
5. Armada- Bad animation, decent stroy
6. Energon- Bad animation, Bad story... (almost stopped collecting after energon, I just couldn't et into it.)

I'm not sure where animated falls into this but certianly higher on the list...

watching DBZ. i never really saw the whole thing. watching the french translation since i find it WAY better.

Oh man, Im not trying to flame or anything, but you're complaining about the quality of G1's plot and then watching DBZ?

And let's be honest, a comparison to gargoyles is unfair. Gargoyles was created 10 years later, with (at least it seemed to me) a significantly higher budget, and still failed to achieve the success transformers had. Which isn't to say some parts of gargoyles wasn't brilliantly written.

So what am I watching right now? Not a whole lot. Sarah Connor Chronicles, mainly. I'll probably try to get back into Lost one of these days too.

lol. yeah i know. i'm bored. dbz is old as well i know but i never watched it in its entirety. however i still find myself falling asleep, dbz, transformers, even gargoyles but the worst is still transformers out of the three.

btw when i said tf its the whole entire (toy commercial) cartoon. not just g1. any of them. nothing interesting. even the ones made now can't even compare to gargoyles. there's no hate here but i just wish it was better.
