Re: The Transformers VENTING Thread

my new beef is the plethora of pre-orders occupying the usual websites. I want a filter that will just show which items are in stock RIGHT NOW. Grrrrrr.

Re: The Transformers VENTING Thread

Just bought Kingdom Dinobot. Was super excited for the figure. As soon as I open it, I notice the left ankle is loose. Like, fidget spinner loose. The figure cannot stand up as the ankle buckles if ANY weight is placed on it.

Fixed with a couple dabs of superglue but still annoyed that I had to repair it as soon as I got it. As a result, the figure now has a permanent sour feeling associated with it. When this was one of the figures I was most looking forward to this year, this was kind of a huge disappointment.

TLDR Hasbro QC takes the wind out of another collector's sails.

Re: The Transformers VENTING Thread

is it just me or were the Netflix exclusives in stores appearing in lower quantities than you would expect? Previous exclusives used to have a lot stock right? I do not like the lower quantities per store.

It's happened with a lot of stuff in the last couple years. The Walmart exclusive Headmasters were almost non-existent in some places, the TRU exclusives from the last couple of lines have been extremely hard to come by, and even the standard runs of Earthrise/Kingdom seem like they get pretty scarce after wave 1 gets overstocked.

With Power of the Primes and Siege I was pretty much able to walk into any store and usually find at least one thing I wanted without issue. With ER and Kingdom often times the copy of a figure that I picked up was the only one of that character that I'd ever seen, or I've had to resort to camping out online stores to get limited runs of stock in so I can snatch them before they're gone.

Netflix might be the worst of it though. To this day I've still never even seen like half of the releases they've done so far live and in person. and I never did get my Bumblebee/Elita ones.

Re: The Transformers VENTING Thread

I noticed the websites I look at often to buy TFs either most items are OUT OF STOCK or they are PRE-ORDER. This really grinds my gears.

Shopping online sucks right now. I want to go back into real stores and see items on the shelves and pegs.

Re: The Transformers VENTING Thread

One of the things I really really really don't like about shopping online is the seller cancelling my order for hard to find items or any of my items in general. Leave cancelling to the customers.

Online sellers should not offer items if they cannot fulfill the order. Buying in physical stores does not have this problem.

Simple repaints and remoulds. Costs way less than a completely new mould and makes way more profit. SO, wtf they thinking? MONEY!!!!

Honestly though it is Takara that is 99.9% MP. Hasbro has little, to no, involvement. Hence they are meant, mostly, for the Japanese market first and foremost.

Hence the Honda City (Skids' vehicle) to celebrate the anniversary ahead of other characters.

I imagine the only characters really not on the short list are Jazz and Mirage. Due to the licensing issues of course.
