Doubtful, there aren't any ports to plug Skystalker into and there's always some connection port in any combiner. It's about as official as the classics Optimus and Jetfire or Universe Dreadwing and Darkwind combination.

When I first saw this and saw how they combined in robot mode, the first thing that popped in to my head was a Cybertron Soundwave and Ratbat custom.


Also, if they were officially intended to combine, the gray on both would match.


This may have been something considered in the design and sculpting stage, but left out after that. There are many other Transformers like that.

I like the addition in robot mode, it definitely enhances his armour.

Unfortunately in plane mode it just looks like a separate vessel on top; badly similar to Armada where some minicon bus could be attached to a motorcycle.
