What's with the yellow-green sticker treatment? Is that comic-cartoon accurate? Seems so wrong to hide that amazing paint job

What autobot symbol is accurate to your toy? The photos show two versions of the hood sticker. Sorry, G2 was after my toy playing days. The G1 symbol looks real nice on there. I might give the hood symbol the reprolabel treatment.
