Of course not
It was 3 yrs or so ago...
But I guess Fansproject knew that (1) a lot of folks have got either one of the sets with Magnus in HK (where they started, I believe) and (2) the main designer wanted to make the trailer/armor for the figure, which Hasbro/Takara will never do, for local fans at the time in small production numbers. I guess after they saw the favorable responses they scaled it up quite a bit.
