Re: eBay complaints
eBay just pulled my Headmasters listing. Thanks eBay. No wonder nobody uses it anymore. I hope you don't expect your cut of the ones I've already sold.
I also hope they don't pull my BotCon listings I'm be putting up tomorrow/Thursday.

Canadian Transformer Ebay Sellers
I have sold about 20 items on ebay bc i let the market determine the price. That was and still is the foundation that ebay banks on.
I rarely buy ebay items from Canada bc the sellers put up these ridiculous buy it now prices and or shipping prices with the psychotic thinking that someone will pay 85 for 10 blitzwing junkers plus shipping or 45 for 2 ttansformer key chains.
Ive seen the same items up for sale on ebay.ca for over a year and its genuinely annoying having to peruse them to see new items. Why doesnt seller lakeportghettobeer get it that no one is going to buy a weapon for 2 and pay 18 for shipping!!! Oh and mp-04 for 1100 dollars bahaha.
The sellers need to get through their heads the market sets the price not you! Thats what an auction is!
Just a tip when shipping weapons/accessories use padded envelope packages! They are just as safe and cost 2.00-3.00 to ship! Then you might sell your left optimus prime fist!

Re: Canadian Transformer Ebay Sellers
LOL I love the rant!
The shipping parts thing is always a PITA from my experience.
Example: I can ship a standard gun (say G1 Prime) in a padded envelope for just the cost of stamps for an oversized letter. Now if I want to ship say Alternators Windchargers gun, I can ship it in the same padded envelope but because the shape of the engine makes the "thickness" of the padded envelope greater then about 2cm, this automatically bumps your padded envelope with maybe 50g of plastic in it to a parcel. So the cost now jumps from about $1.25ish to about $5-$7 ish.
Fawking stupid.
Now for eBay this means that a seller can charge you the say $7 for shipping but sneak the package off to you for less then $2 and pocket the rest of the money. Shady practice??? Maybe, maybe not. Personally I've done flat shipping within Canada by figureing out the shipping cost from me (Edmonton) to say Halifax and if someone in Calgary wins and shipping is less well to bad I guess. Beats being out of pocket for extra shipping costs.
Now all this being said honest sellers that are just tring to be a fair as possible to the buyers and to themselves will have exact shipping or only slightly inflated rates which I think is acceptable. The problem lies in that people are greedy and are inflating there shipping cost to make more and to cover the ebay/paypal fees etc.
I've also noticed that everyone eBay is paranoid of being ripped off so every package has to be tracked which drives the cost up A LOT, or they pick the most expensive shipping for the auction and then when they get to the post office they pick the cheapest shipping (which has no tracking) and again pocket the extra cash.
LOL I'll step off the soap box now.

Re: eBay complaints
i think the worse cases are sellers closing their auctions before it ends because they don't get enough...are there rules against that? i was watching an item which ended at 35$ which was incredibly cheap, only to see it being relisted a day later.
