You are right that the price is ridiculous.

I don't collect Star Wars.
I try to only get these figures on sale, and the sales are usually max 25% off. I did buy a studio series figure a few weeks ago, Airplane Shatter, and was playing with it, and the only detractor was that it in no way felt like a thirty dollar toy. On top of that, the distribution is such that, if you don't buy a figure that one time you see it on the shelf, often, you'll never see it again.

Sorry, this probably isn't website related anymore. I'm just annoyed.

Was talking to an employee at TRU the other day and he mentioned that staff can buy anything and everything as it comes off the truck so it never see's the floor. Said he did it with some Witcher figures recently.

Just a FYI... if your TRU has a TF collector you probably screwed.

yup. As an example places like Hot Topic have employees sign something that they cannot buy new product for like a few weeks after its release.

I think an employee at EB Games told me the same thing. They need to wait before they are allowed to purchase newly released items.
