My Arcee also doesn't have a sticker. Maybe only the first batch in the US had stickers or maybe the glossy ones.

I just opened my Arcee and one of the fingers look like it already has the stress mark problem. I stick in the tight fitting sowrds and now both fingers have stress marks on the inside.

Hmm, should I be worried that it might not hold and sooner or later its gonna break?

I have the "matte" finish version as well.

I have the same problem with the Arcee that I opened it has me worried too. I put some crazy glue on the thumb to strengthen it, I just bought an extra one today just in case it breaks.

Yeah I have this problem too. My solution was to shave a SMALL dip in center of the sword's handle, so when she's holding them, there's no stress on the thumb. You don't have to take off much, but if you do ... ahem... like I did with the first one, you can put some nail polish on it and it'll be A-ok again.

I haven't opened my Arcee... do you guys think shaving down the handle of the swords will work to prevent stress marks on the fingers?

Probably not. Mine had the stress marks out of package for one of the hands and as soon as I popped the sword in to the other one, instant stress mark. I was really careful too, but obviously not careful enough. My impression was the fingers were pretty durable even with the stress marks, but what really worried me was the constant stress of holding the swords.

But on a side note. I have an idea for replacement hands if the thumbs on mine ever break, barbie doll hands. I haven't fully thought this out yet, but they look about the same size and you can pick one up for like $2 at your local value village. Chop the doll's hands off at about the same length as Arcee's forearms and make a notch and paint. Just a random thought.

Just sorta wanted to note that my US Arcee (matte) that I received last week in the mail has no stress marks, I put the sword in/out 4-5 times already and it's still fine. I wasn't even aware of the stress mark issue. I wonder if it's just an issue with the Arcees we've been getting, I'm kind of worried about opening my Canadian one now.
