Online does put you down for $5 down usually. I ordered some Power Ranger figures from them in February and I had to put $5 down for each of them on the website. This is why I try to always place the preorders in-store.

That's interesting. I spoke to my local EB store manager today and they have none showing up in their shipping manifest for the store where I placed the preorder (but said that they are showing 100+ of BW Megatron at the warehouse so who knows what is happening).

I'm still waiting for them to call me about my ER Trailbreaker, SS86 Hot Rod and Scourge. Fortunately, I was able to get them from other retailers

I had pre-ordered SS Grimlock, Jazz, Blurr and Kup from EBGames.. This was all done Online so I had to put down $5 deposit for each one... They never called me for any of them...


I ended up purchasing from a local retailer and cancelling the pre-orders


I preordered Deep Cover and Inferno in store (So no deposit required) and they actually called me when Deep Cover arrived


I think it is very hit or miss when it comes to EBGames for preorders

Online only asks for money down if you're pre-ordering via the Ship-to-store option. $5 per item.

If you're pre-ordering online for ship to home, there is no up-front charge, just the final payment when the item ships (or shortly before).
