Nothin to do with them, and everything to do with me

Final day of the kickstarter (natch) I didn't have enough on my CC for the purchase, but I ran it anyways
And it went through, so perfect

The next day "whups a problem w your order" and of course I knew why
BUT this allowed a five day window to get the payment sorted out; which enough time to get me to payday

Effectively "calling" one despite not being able to afford it right on 11:59pm Oct 10th

Anyways it's all straightened out now, so I'm peachy

i wonder if the number of backers (27,353) represents actual individual people/orders or number of units to be produced at minimum notwithstanding the extras created for warranty purposes.

It is the number of units.

You could buy up to 5 units as a single order, but each one counts in the total.

So in imaginary land, it could be possible that 27,353 is divided by 5 (everyone ordered 5) and that would mean only 5470 people ordered Victory Saber. Of course that isn't the case.

Also note that the 27,353 number will probably drop over the next couple of weeks. Same thing happened with previous Haslabs. People have a period to cancel, and some units won't be processed for multiple reasons. Probably will end up around 25,000-26,000.

I think some of us like me now thinking "we should have bought one."

With all the supply chain issues, Star Saber is very good value for the price. By the time it gets released, who knows, maybe inflation would have pushed retail prices of Leader Class figures from the current $73 all the way to $93.

I paid nearly $40 for that Origins Bumblebee, Star Saber is better value than 8 or 9 Origins Bumblebees.
