Great experience so far. They even sent a personal note after placing the order. A very nice touch!

Also, their site is quite reasonably priced, lower than many others. The Ark is there for $205, for example. Even with shipping it's the cheapest option I've seen yet. I'm surprised they have not come up much in the forums before.

I really hope that these small retailers aren't preordering from Amazon and then putting them up on their own website as preorders. This set is an exclusive, so I feel like the only way to obtain them would be through Amazon. Just a thought though.

If that's what's happening then it would mean Toy Snowman fails at basic economics pretty hard. My price on the TS order is only about $5 more than my Amazon price and that includes that TS is charging me for shipping while Amazon isn't. And Amazon isn't out there giving volume price breaks on its retail prices.

That's possible, but does Hasbro directly supply small retailers? Usually small retailers have a distributor that gets the figures to them, not Hasbro themselves.
