Could the AOE Dinobots be folded into the IDW-verse?

I've been fiddling with the new figures and I had an idea.

Rodimus and Co. were all out looking for the Knights of Cybertron, yes?

Well, what if it's the Dinobots who find them? And what if they're complete douche bags? Grown old, and arrogant, and corrupt in their long isolation so the Dinobots (and two others to become Scorn and Slash) fight them and gain their power, and thusly become the new Knights of Cybertron.

It goes along great with the Knightly design that the new Dino's already have, and it would give Hasbro a legitimate reason to recolour them in G1 colour schemes other than just doing it for fan service.

i think this would be cool since A) we haven't really seen the Dino's in a long time, and B) they haven't really done anything important yet. This would give them a larger purpose and could even spin them off into their own solo series where they travel the cosmos righting wrongs like the knights of old.

They could even have their own ship named The Round Table!

Isn't Grimlock with the misfits right now?

Nothing AOE should be folded into anything.

That's not entirely true, i'm sure they could be folded and then tossed into a trash bin.

Re: Could the AOE Dinobots be folded into the IDW-verse?

Grimlock's with the Scavengers and is essentially brain dead at the moment.

The rest of the Dino's are presumabely all on Cybertron still, although Slag is the only one to apper in Windblade so far.

I don't think they'll be having a reunion any time soon, as the Scavengers are more likely to meet up with the Lost Light since they are a James Robert's created team. Also, we don't know what will happen with all the characters on Cybertron after the Windblade Mini ends. They might be taken over by Barber in RiD, or they may be given to a new Ongoing team.

I agree, let's keep the AOE garbage out of IDW, after all IDW doesn't need any help sucking more than it already does.

If the AOE dinobots came into IDW-verse, nothing will make sense. Since the dinobots already exist in the IDW-verse. Their looks might make an appearance.

the IDW dinobots are actually dinobots, where as the AOE dinobots are actually dinobayts...

Why would anyone want those designs infringing on the good work that IDW has done so far?

They don't look like dinosaurs OR transformers.

You obviously haven't been reading the current TF comics in the last few years.

This is exactly what I was saying. Not have the G1 Dino's AND the AOE Dino's coexisting. I'm suggesting using the AOE designs to upgrade the G1's.

You obviously haven't actually played with any of them.
