Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2010

WFC Prime has a piece of his front hood that connects to his front grill was cracked and missing while Bumblebee had such loose legs that he would just fall apart. I'm glad I got them replaced.

Darkmount and Banzai-tron both have loose left legs. It's the piece that holds the shin and lets it swivel.

Loose joints don't bother me at all...most are easily fixed

Any particular nail polish or glue you recommend? I tried using super glue to fix the loose arm on my scout Deadend, but only ended up with a mess.

I noticed that the photo on the back card of Darkmount alt mode is reversed/mirrored as I was trying to compare it the the paint apps because I though it was missing some colours.

Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2010

My WFC Prime had a fairly noticable stress mark on the panel the wheels are connected on the right left.

WFC Megatron has a loose right elbow, and I dont know how to fix that since he has no ball joints.

recent ones=

pcc 5pac mudslinger, actually his drones, the left shoulder (dune buggy) and his left leg(red madmax looking car with the cowcatcher on the front),both don't want to stay connected;(

generations redalert, his engine's side folding vent things fall off the minute you fold them down.
i also got stress marks in the bottom of his gun from plugging it onto his square that holds it in alt mode.
this could be attributed to the fact that he's been remolded a few times now.

henkei red alert
botcon g2 classics sideswipe

Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2010

I just discovered that my Terradive has two left "thighs". Fortunately that part is not noticeable in either modes and it doesn't get in the way of transformation. I am quite happy with this figure as I am lucky to have none of the other problems reported so far.

Re: Transformers quality control issues of 2010

Generations Red Alert's engine does not clip to his gun as well as I would like. His gun also won't peg into his shoulder.

Generations WFC Prime has one set of rear wheels that won't stay snapped down in vehicle mode. They flop out.

Generations WFC Bumblebee is a bugger to transform -- I simply can't get all of the panels to line up. May be some flaws in the mold or may be some incompetence on my part. Still, ridiculously frustrating for a popular character of a children's toy line.
