Or as they say: the mall wanted their space for a 'similar store', so i find it possible that hasbro or takara got ahold of the managers to pressure them out without officially getting involved.
Thoughts? Opinions? Is this an underhanded tactic by the Has/tak corp. To eliminate competition?

Are you serious? Other vendors in the mall? Please check out the mall's store directory and tell me who is jealous for them?

For those of us who live in Greater Vancouver. Lougheed Mall is one of those old mall waiting for big real estate developers to come inject billions of dollars for redevelopment. See here:

If there's a train line and a mall, it's big time for more overpriced tiny condo. That's Vancouver.
Also Takara has no distribution right outside of Japan. If Japanese etailers like HLJ , AA, AE and HS can sell Takara products to oversea customers, why would Takara bother with a small shop in Canada? Same case with Hasbro. Hasbro sells to big box stores like TRU and Walmart. They don't bother with the little inde shops.
They have moved a few time in the past 10 years. The important thing is they are still in business, and I look forward to see what they will put out on moving sales, and grand opening sales.
