Since all the voice acting seems to be consistent I suspect the director is to blame. I kinda feel bad for the actors just doing what they're told.

If I recall correctly, it's a result of using non-unionized voice actors that aren't regularly voice actors. So everything just comes out over-emphasized like video game dialogue.

Is Primal OK? He sounds like he’s confused or has a concussion. Optimus sounds like he’e a bit slow. Always needing to pause at each word to think up the next word he’s going to say. WTF.

Does the director tell all his Autobot leaders to go 3/4 ret**d, or did he tell them to go full and the actors restrained themselves and told him you never go full?

The voice acting for this show is so fucking bad. It's non-union, fine. Cheap as fuck but fine. The direction is bad. The script is bad. The actors are likely doing what they're told, but don't have the skill to try to make it at least decent.

What a joke. It's been how many years since PRIME, the last proper TF series? And this shit is the best Hasbro can do?
