2013 Metroplex.. need opinion my fellow collectors

You bastards. If I end up with 2 Metroplexes I don't know what do do with myself lol.

Personally, I am going retail. As much as I appreciate the chrome face homage (G1 Metroplex was one of my original G1s as a child) I don't like it too much here. At least in pics.

In all honestly, I won't buy 2 for one reason specifically. Space. With the eventual repaint this guy will get I just can't afford the footprint that 3 Metroplexes take up :P

Personally I just want a 2nd red gun for the retail version. Hope a 3rd party accommodates somehow.

I would have gone for the SDCC version if the mini figs were painted but now im going retail. The chrome is not bad but not a big selling point for me. The extra gun is nice too but not worth the extra $$$

the little figures dont have any appeal for me, first they dont transform like decoys and second.....scramper is bigger than those figures which doesnt seem to make sense in scale. thats why im sticking with takara version

the only thing appealing about sdcc version is the packaging design.

That's just part of it for me too. If the mini figs had paint detail to them then I can deal with the chrome on Metroplex.
Aside from two large guns, that's the only selling point for me and it isn't enough. I'll stick with retail.
Rather one large gun and a paintable Metroplex when I have an army of minicons and legends than pay extra for the SDCC one, imo anyway.

I have the Takara version pre-ordered myself. I like the Chrome face and the two guns.
