Question A Full Chested Subject...G1 Soundwave Question

Time for another Fun Friday topic.

Soundwave KAH, this noise's...ahem, I mean this thread is for you!!!

What do the cassettes do inside Soundwave when there's no warfare or work to be done? What really goes on inside that amazing chest?
THIS IS NOT A POLL!!!

-they nap, or hypersleep, or meditate, or recharge or power-up Soundwave?

-since they're all in cassette mode, do their minds all merge into some "Keanu-Matrix" like state?

-since Soundwave's chest is like sub-space (because he can fit so many cassettes) is it another world in there? (a la Alice in Wonderland; or for Trekkies/Trekkers think Fluidic Space)

-if physical space is limited in Soundwave's chest, do they all shrink even more to fit?

-(assume it's like another dimension in there, and Soundwave has many Auto-Scouts), do the sentient cassettes pit the Auto-Scouts against each other and bet Energon or quatloos on the winner?

-or is everything we know about Soundwave an illusion? When in fact it's the cassettes who are the real deal, and Soundwave is their "Avatar"? No one really takes the little guys seriously, but once you have a tough "big brother" to back you up, you're a somebody. (for Trekkies/Trekkers think Balok in the TOS ep "The Corbomite Maneuver".

-or is Soundwave similar to the Borg? He "assimilated" smaller Cybertronians to do his bidding. Has any of his cassettes every questioned an order he gave? Hmmm?

-or his mind is so vast that in order keep from going crazy, he has 7 "minions" to hold a piece of his mind.

-or is Soundwave really a mother and the cassettes are her kids? But to serve the Decepticon cause, she changed her voice to sound male. (It wouldn't be the first time in literature a female is unhappy with the status quo and disguised herself to be a male to prove that females can do just as good as males.)

-in their time off, are the cassettes like Jazz? Meaning they're inside listening to music and/or watching whatever Soundwave steals from the airwaves.

THIS IS NOT A POLL!!!

Use...
-Logic and/or
-US or UK comics' events and/or
-Japanese fiction and/or
-fan-fictioned and/or
-seriousness and/or
-hilarity and/or
-creativity
.........to answer any or all. Criticize my joke theories...or make up your own theories. Have fun!!!

In case you missed previous weeks' Fun Friday Topics...

Have a good weekend!!!

Well, we all know about the insane amount of mass shifting that takes place in G1. So... I say, whenever there is downtime for the cassettes, it's DISCO PARTY TIME In Soundwaves magical chest.

Re: A Full Chested Subject...G1 Soundwave Question

There is a secret back door where they basically exit as soon as they enter the chest. They would sneak off camera during a close up sequence so as to not ruin the shot. There they would hang out off set with Huffer who was stuck hauling Prime's trailer all over the frigging place.

Re: A Full Chested Subject...G1 Soundwave Question

My fanfic has been that Soundwave is the ultimate communication's manager, so much so that his consciousness can't deal with ALL of the information he can collect.

Our human brains collect about a million pieces of information but are only conscious of about 20 or so things at once.

Because Soundwave almost hears other 'bot's thoughts, he has the cassettes to expand the processing ability of his consciousness by literally taking it from his cassette minions. So they are effectively asleep but helping Soundwave listen, broadcast and control EM signals. Then when there is a fight, Soundwave just unleashes his minions and turns on some dampers to focus on the moment.

His cassette bots like it, because they are relatively weak, or are at least specialists with one-sided abilities, and they gain the protection of a really powerful Decepticon general. Soundwave wins by expanding his consciousness and literally being aware of everything around him with a loyal group of minions at his beck and call.

I still think though that Soundwave controls his cassette-bots and he is either addictive, or their free will is subjugated by Soundwave's will.

Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, and Laserbeak have all demonstrated an ability to hold their own against much larger Autobots (and even Decepticons) in the G1 cartoon. They may be small, but they aren't weak.

I do agree that Soundwave gives them credibility, though.
