I didn't make this, a guy named Mike Van Plew did.
For some reason still unknown to me, he sent me this one as a gift. I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it.
Pros:
-a lot of detail in the molding of the plastic
-probably the same grade of plastic as the TFA line
-real rubber treads
-very movie accurate with both toolbox and laser (laser fits inside toolbox perfectly)
Cons
-if you don't want something to fall off, you gotta glue it on
-limited articulation
-had to glue on the eyebrows, would like to get epoxy so I can attach them to wires to make them pose-able for different expressions. Right now he just looks mildly surprised
-paint job isn't all that great. The plastic is silvery grey but the bits painted on could have used greater care
-back wheel stick thing was broken, had to glue it back together
-if you move the body all the way forward, you have to take apart the base and put it back together again to make him stand upright because there's a ridge that prevents it from moving back up. At least doing that was easy
-dropped the head and his little antenna thing broke, had to glue that back on
This is the first run that he's produced and I don't know if he has intentions to move beyond to improve. I have to be honest and say that the price tag is way too steep for what's being offered. If it was made by a professional company, then it would probably be much better. For $250 I would expect quality like this:
