According to several posters over at TFW this is looking to be quite hard to find with most stores coming up empty and some not even showing up in computer systems.

Has anyone else gone hunting for this today? Anyone having better luck with finding it? I was planning on hitting up the mall to check out HMV and Music World later today as I have to mail about 4-5 boxes out anyway, now I'm just hoping I find this at all now.

Hopefully its around, been looking forward to this for a good while now and would preferably like to snag it sooner rather then later. Worst case I guess its amazon.ca

Haven't gone looking yet - I plan to get it when I get the DVD.

Unless I use it as an excuse to get an iPod touch at Best Buy...

Best Buy, Future Shop, HMV and Walmart all didn't have it!

I was going to buy it off Amazon but it said it won't ship till the 22nd! I'm just going to buy it off iTunes and then buy a phyical copy later whenever I see it in stores!

edit: just checked futureshop.ca, bestbuy.ca and hmv.ca and they don't even have it listed!

HMV.ca has it for $25.99, but it only ships in 7-10 days. I asked a phyical HMV store location here to search for 'Transformers score' and they said there was nothing in the system, but YMMV.

HMV told me that it is in the system and they haven't received any. Though they offered to order me one.

This is beginning to sound like Retailer idiocy. You mean to tell me no one had the foresight to think this would be a hot ticket item? I call BS on all stores who say they don't have it in their system, it DOES exist after all.

I just checked HMV's website and saw the rock soundtrack listed, but not the score. I then phoned the store near me to ask if they had any in stock. The guy I spoke to said that they don't have it because it's not yet out in Canada. October 9/07 was the US release date, but as of yet, there is no set Canadian release date for the score.

I'm probably going to download it ASAP and then buy a physical copy from ebay or wherever else will ship to Canada...

Why is it that we're always getting screwed by the states?!

I always thought movie scores sold poorly, therefore the hesitation of Music labels to produce them.

IMO, soundtracks/scores aren't really a hot ticket music item, but then again, I could be wrong.

Soundtracks are usually the hot ticket item, not the score. I have a few scores and they tend to be more difficult to find and more expensive.

Well I just said screw it and just bought and downloaded the score off iTunes. Not my first choice but it was well worth it. Very awesome!

I'm not sure were your getting this from as people in the US are having just as much trouble finding the score at retail/online as we are. The Canadian and US release date and distribution are the same so this isn't a case of Canada getting the shaft.
