Yup...and I took that photo at probably the most flattering angle...

If the wings didn't dip so deep below the bottom of the car it may have worked but because the doors are incorporated (which also breaks up the look of a whole cockpit too to boot) it just doesn't wind up looking well.

But like you said, everything else is perfect and it is easy to ignore the flight mode.

It's in the instructions...and there's even a piece incorporated that flips around so the missiles can connect to, meant just for the flight mode.

Wheeljack will have a spoiler pinned in there instead.

My bad. I meant for the G1 figure.

Yup, even dating back to the Diaclone days.

There's actually a better looking flight mode out there.

Re: Reveal the Shield Tracks

Hmmm...does look better....but I can't help but think there's no way in hell those little wings could lift that front end alone :P

Perhaps only if it worked under the "body-wing" principle where lift is supplied from the body itself.

You and me both. Blurr seems to be running so fast we can't even see him on the pegs.

Overall, I've noticed that a number of the Reveal the Shield figures have problems with their backs / fronts clicking or locking into place. There's nothing but gravity keeping Jazz's hood chest down. Tracks's backpack isn't the most stable. And I have a HELL of a time getting Perceptor's whole back assembly to stay in place. If I move his arms, it disconnects his whole back.

Definitely could benefit from some slots and pegs.

Then Scourge isn't the only Blended Wing Body plane in recent lines? :P
