Re: Now what?

I recently constructed a box which I call the cube aka Energon Cube aka the allspark cube, it's purpose to protect, organize, and make my entire collection easily mobile. It has bunch of compartments to store the bots safely and organized. It decrease's space on shelfs and since its a cube its tf related and a great display piece. I'm in the process of painting it and adding pictures of tfs, cybertronian letters ect. It's cool. I have also constructed a custom gun case to hold my G1 megatron with also fits inside the cube.

I've been considering doing that with a metal case $10 poker set from Wal-Mart. I just need some of that foam, and a vintage silencer to "complete" a vintage megs for it.

I haven't, so far all I've seen is Season Seven at Wal-Mart, a couple of the individual toy-less Season Seven disks at Zellers and that's about it... I lucked out and found Season Five in the Discount Bin at Superstore at St. Annes.

I also saw one at the Regent Superstore in the discount bin, I assume the price is the same 5.99$ Get there lickety split and snatch that puppy up.

Otherwise you'll just have to resort to Amazon, like I plan on doing once I have enough money to pay for them.

Re: Now what?

I like the ideas of donating and well wishes...but I think what Jackal Prime means is news, excitement, buzz, searching for new releases...the plastic crack addiction!!!! Sure, donations help...maybe volunteer at a soup kitchen can take your mind off TFs for a couple hours but for me it's the WAIT until the new stuff arrives...that's what's hard to live with!!!

I have a comprehensive plan...a list of therapy, if you will...

-TF Restorations
-Planning Ottawa Mini-Con 2.0
-time with the family (the kids, especially my son, love TFs)
-back-collecting (got a hunger for G2, Actionmasters...finding great deals lately for some reason)
-maybe_just_maybe some stop motion videos

That should help keep me occupied for the next couple of months...'cause from what I remember last year, it was mid-late February before new stuff arrived.

Re: Now what?

I'm staying busy by picking through places like 'the Bargain! Shop' for nifty things I missed in past years, like the Power Rangers Super Legends Retrofire Mighty Morphin' Megazord. Not too impressed with the pics I've seen of the re-tooled version droppin' in 2010, but this little guy pleases me quite a bit...except for the rather (ahem) uncomfortable place his stand peg is suppose to go.
