Well I am not saying this happened here because most of these stores have good reputations but what is to stop online retailers from posting coneheads on their site to generate a lot of new traffic and sales. I know in the recent wave of pre-orders more than a handful of people who ordered extra stuff to hit free shipping and such. Even with full refunds it seems like this would be a free way to generate a lot of new traffic to a site.
Again not saying it happened in this situation but it seems inevitable with how evasive marketing is getting or MAYBE ive spent way too much time in that NMC thread lol.
