Then I received a standard coupon email with 10% off, that expires within a month. Filed that straight to the garbage can as the original coupon I had on Rodimus was much better.

I never got a coupon e-mail. Though I did send them a response to the "your order's going to get cancelled" e-mail just to make sure I was understanding their plan correctly and to reiterate my intent to buy a Rodimus if/when it shows up at my local store.
I'm a little concerned about them having difficulty contacting me if they don't have my phone # on file (I can't remember if they do or not) and losing out, but at this point nothing will surprise me with how all this gets handled so I'm just going to roll with it.
