I don’t think I’ll ever be “DONE”, but I used to buy a ton more than I currently do. It isn’t so much the price that is killing it for me (as long as the engineering is good I feel that balances), but the distribution has stolen a lot of the fun for me. I’m too old to stress out over not being able to get a figure or having to preorder something as soon as it’s announced. I concentrate on finding the figures I really want across a few lines, but I won’t pay over retail, turn to scalpers, or impulse buy figures anymore. I still love the hobby, but I’ve given up on the idea of ‘gotta catch em all’. I just try to be chill about it now.
