SSL certificates have nothing to do with your webhost, and you can get them for free from services like Let's Encrypt (https://letsencrypt.org/).

Didn't Masterpiece Tracks also have some problems? And while I don't have the old Generations Tracks I do have the Wheeljack retool of that mould and it's pretty great.
