UW or CW Shockwave?
 

I'm putting together another AE preorder for this new Alert+ and I see they still have Takara's Legend Shockwave (well, TA) up.

I can't find any colour pics of the UW version, but from what I've seen I like the Hasbro colours. Is it me, or does it look like more transparent plastic on UW SW?

I lucked out finding Viper in Walmart last week, so perhaps there's still a chance to find CW Shockwave in the wild.

Thoughts?

Even if CW Legend Shockwave does show up, it will be hard to find... and I am not counting on it either. I got the LG24 Shockwave from AE, as legend Shockwave is a MUST get for me. I am satisfy with the lighter purple color for Shockwave. I got all my CW Legends online from the States, the distribution in Canada is pathetic. We barely see any Deluxe Wave 5 here all this time, go figure... Well, it doesn't affect me much now as I am getting all Takara for the Combiner line.

I preordered UW shockwave from HLJ just to go with the UW Bruticus. UW seems to be lighter color than its CW counterpart keeping with the theme of Masterpiece Lazerwave.

On the west coast we havent seen any onslaughts or its limbs so I'm not counting on us getting shockwave either.

It actually release in August. It is only around 15 at AE.... almost same as the CW after tax.

It probably won't add much shipping cost if you are buying something with it, so I don't see any reason not to get it. And if CW Legend Shockwave does ever shows up, just pick it up as a double.

Personally, given how cheap it is, I'm probably getting both - might sell one of them at tfcon USA. I'm a little worried the pictures of LG Shockwave don't seem to show the handle. Instead he has Cancer?

I have 2 cw shockwaves and I'll be getting the takara one as well, it looks swell.
